Horror Movie Survival Guide

Episode #16

October 30th, 2017 / 34:15

Halloween – What better movie to watch on Halloween than…Halloween! Yes, a little on the nose, but it just fits so perfectly, how can you not? John Carpenter’s 1978 slasher flick introduced killer extraordinaire Michael Myers to the horror world, and made Jamie Lee Curtis into a bonafide scream queen.

For the gore factor, Halloween earned 3 Buckets of Blood.

Julia and Marion both gave this movie 5 Chainsaws.

This episode is brought to you by the award winning indie comedy, Elijah’s Ashes, now available on Amazon Video.

Lawrence Shaw is a run of the mill guy who just can’t get accepted for being who he is. He’s not straight enough for his job and he’s not stereotypically gay enough for his boyfriend. To make things worse, his father Elijah just died and his last dying wish was for Lawrence to go on a road trip with his extremely homophobic half-brother Kevin to bury his ashes.
